Programme in DIRECTION

The Programme in Direction is a 6-month course designed to teach aspiring directors the essential skills required for filmmaking and television production. The programme covers film history, screenplay techniques, the language of cinema, and the director's role. Students will gain practical experience in documentary filmmaking, ads, promos, song picturisation, and a film project. By learning staging, shooting techniques, and production management, the graduates will be prepared to take on the responsibilities of a director or assistant director in the industry

     Fundamentals of direction, camera, photography, and lighting.
     Acting basics: speech, monologue, and body language.
     Introduction to editing, sound, and production basics.

     Cinematography techniques and creative camera work.
     Acting: Improvisation, physical, and voice culture.
     Editing: Fiction, non-fiction, and rhythm manipulation.
     Sound recording, ADR, and recording instruments.
     Economics, budgeting, and pre-production planning.
